NANOFRANCE AND THE JOURNEY OF "SENDING SUNSHINE TO YOU" IN HA GIANG
With the spirit of mutual love and the desire to share love, NanoFrance's volunteer group had a 3-day, 2-night journey in Dong Van - Ha Giang to send warm rays of sunshine through practical and meaningful gifts to children in Ma Le commune in the middle of the cold winter.
On the evening of December 6, 2024, after traveling 14 hours from Ha Nam, a truck loaded with candy, powdered milk, socks and warm hats from the volunteer group of NanoFrance High-Tech Production Company Limited arrived at Lung Cu Border Post (Ma Le commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang). Due to the weather conditions in Ha Giang with light rain and thick fog, the road to Dong Van, Ha Giang became more bumpy and dangerous, however, that did not stop the steps of the members of the group.
The very next morning (December 7, 2024), the delegation organized the presentation of 5 gifts to the children who are currently adopted children of Lung Cu Border Guard Station and presented 25 gifts to the children in the Station's "Step Up to School" Program.
Also on the morning of December 7, the delegation continued to move to Ma Lung A school (Ma Le commune) and presented 170 gifts to preschool and primary school children in Ma Lung village. Due to the rugged terrain, the lives of the people, especially the education of the students here, are still very difficult and arduous. In Ma Lung, most of them are Mong ethnic people, many children cannot speak Vietnamese yet, however, they are all very obedient and polite, especially happy to receive gifts from the delegation. The gifts are not of great material value but are full of affection and love, enough to warm the hearts of the children and the people of the highlands at the head of the Fatherland. Hopefully, these small gifts will give the children more strength and spirit to continue on their journey of "finding letters".
The NanoFrance charity program “Sending sunshine to you” was a great success. All members of the delegation felt happy when seeing the bright smiles and eyes filled with joy of the children and the local people. That is also the motivation for the next charity activities of NanoFrance.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited and attended the Flag-raising Ceremony at Lung Cu National Flagpole - a symbol marking the northernmost point of Vietnam. The heroic melody of the National Anthem resounded on the rocky plateau at the headland of the Fatherland, making the atmosphere of the ceremony even more solemn and sacred in the emotion and pride of all members of the delegation.
